8-Bit Gaming Theme

The 8-Bit Gaming Theme is a Google Chrome browser theme that I created on the Chrome Web Store. It was the first theme I created, starting out as an experimental project. It was a something new for me, so I relied on some tutorials and eventually figured it out to what I felt was cool. I ended up releasing the theme on the Chrome Web Store, so people can see what I created.

The theme has a dark-colored tab bar with purple and blue pixels. The background is flat and smooth, a blue color, with white clouds when opening a new tab.

By November 2023, the theme had over 100 users that were using the theme, which was more than I thought. I thought only a handful of people tested it out, so to have over a hundred installations was truly unexpected. Having done this and watching people's responses to it, I've started thinking about other themes that I can do or even go beyond.
